A PROLIFIC flasher is being hunted by police.

The man is thought to have exposed himself up to 10 times in Walkden and Eccles - and some of the victims have been schoolgirls as young as 12.

Police have now released an e-fit of the suspect.

The man has believed to have committed the crimes between January and April across West Salford.

The first incident happened just before 8am on April 10, when a 42-year-old woman was riding her bike along a footpath under Quaker Bridge, Ellesmere Park, and a man exposed himself to her.

He was being about 6ft tall, slim, in his 30s with short hair and was wearing dark clothes.

Det Insp Alan Clitherow said: “We believe the same person is responsible for these offences and we have dedicated officers investigating each incident and patrolling the area.

“I would ask anyone who may have any concerns as to what has happened or any information they believe could be relevant to please speak to their local officer.

“It is important to emphasise that these are traumatic offences for the victims and although no physical contact is made it is important we catch the person responsible and he is held to account for his actions.

"I would urge anyone who may be a victim of exposure to contact the police immediately to enable us to provide the quickest, most efficient response.”

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
