FRIENDS of Pikes Lane Primary School came up with a very tasty fundraising idea.
They hosted a buffet, with parents and some staff bringing in dishes and everyone could tuck in for just £3.
There were different foods from different nations representing the cultural diversity in school and money raised will go towards buying new planters for children who can grow their own vegetables and plants.
Victoria Singleton, extended service manager, said: “It is lovely for staff and parents to come together in an informal setting, fully promoting our positive parent partnership work that takes place in school.”
