AN international song competition brought music to the ears of staff and pupils at Walmsley CE Primary School.
Children of all ages dressed in costumes for the Egerton school’s fifth annual International Song Competition.
Dawn Hitchen, a modern foreign languages co-ordinator at the school, said: “It’s a really good event and it is so well-supported by the parents.
“The children were very enthusiastic about it and came up with some creative ideas.”
For the competition pupils in different year groups were assigned a country and had to perform songs in the musical styles of each country.
