A MAN who is feared to be homeless has been missing for nearly a month after walking out of the Royal Bolton Hospital.

Timothy Lord, aged 51, has not been seen for nearly a month — after leaving the Royal Bolton Hospital, where he had been a patient on March 31.

Mr Lord admitted himself to the hospital but did not officially discharge himself.

Police believe he is now homeless.

Since he was reported missing he has since been in contact with some friends but police still want to speak to him, saying they want to ensure he is safe and well.

He is white, medium build, and balding with short grey hair.

He was last seen wearing baseball cap, a khaki green coat and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Mr Lord has family and friends in Horwich.

Sgt Warren Noblett, from Bolton North Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “If anybody has any information about Timothy’s current or recent whereabouts then I would urge them to get in touch.

“We are concerned for Timothy’s welfare and need to speak with him regarding his current situation as we now believe he is homeless.

“I'd like to appeal directly to Timothy to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”

Anyone who believes they have seen Mr Lord or knows of his whereabouts can call police on 0161 8565761.
