THE all-star line-up of this year’s pantomime at The Albert Halls has been revealed.

International singing star Aston Dobson will take the lead role of Prince Karl in Cinderella.

The member of the Twelve Tenors and a professional solo perform-er will join popular Bolton entertainer Stu Francis, who will return as Buttons.

Cinderella will be played by Lucia Matisse, who played the Princess in the Albert Halls’ pantomime Aladdin in 2010 and is currently starring in the touring production of Bless ’em All.

There will be a double dose of comedy pairings in the form of Darrock and Howe as the Ugly Sisters and The Harper Brothers as Bill and Ben.

Roger Darrock and Stephen Howe are well known as one of the best ugly sister partnerships in the panto business, and The Harper Brothers, Rob and Darren, are sons of Bobby Ball, of Cannon and Ball fame.

Bolton Council’s cabinet member for neighbourhood and community services, Cllr John Byrne, said: “Families look forward to the annual pantomime at The Albert Halls all year and it’s exciting to know that we’ve got a host of talent lined-up for this year’s show.

“It will be hard to beat last year’s Jack and the Beanstalk as it was fantastic, but Cinderella is a firm favourite with all ages and the variety of singing, dancing and comedy on offer is sure to make it a success.”

Cinderella runs at The Albert Halls, Bolton, from November 29, 2014 to January 4, 2015.

Tickets are now on sale. Visit alberthalls-bolton.co.uk or telephone the box office on 01204 334400.

The show will be produced by Duggie Chapman Associates.
