THIEVES have stolen a disabled boy's specially adapted tricycle.
The trike was stolen from a paved area outside the front door of a house on Brocksby Chase, Halliwell, between 5pm and 9pm on Tuesday, April 22.
The bike belonged to a disabled 14-year-old boy, whose devastated family later found parts of the bike in a nearby park.
Police are now appealing for information and witnesses.
Det Sgt Patrick Wood said: "Whoever has stolen this bike should be ashamed.
"I would urge them, or anyone who knows who took it, to call police so we can find the rest of the bike and hopefully return it to its owner.
"If anyone remembers seeing a bike like the one pictured, or has any information about what happened to it, I would ask that you get in touch with us."
Anyone with information can call police on 0161 8565619 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
