BOLTON Ladies’ Fundraising Group’s annual lunch at Rivington Barn proved a great success and boosted the charity Dementia Awareness by £3,000.
The event attracted 245 guests who enjoyed a meal, an entertaining fashion show by Bolton town centre store Beales, and a lively talk entitled For Better Or Worse by Father Michael Burgess.
The money will go to the charity’s Forgotten Conversations project to support carers of people with dementia.
