A SCHOOL now has life-saving equipment thanks to the fundraising efforts of one its pupils.
Thirteen-year-old Courtney Evans wanted to improve access to defibrillators after the sudden death of a relative in 2012.
The Little Lever pupil managed to collect more than £800 from a non-uniform day which was enough to buy a defibrillator for her school’s sports centre. The equipment was bought by the Bolton ICD Support Group.
