A KEARSLEY drink- driver was banned for 20 months and forced to pay court costs of more than £1,000.
Jevon Eccles, aged 24, of Gerrard Street, was found guilty by Bolton magistrates of two of four charges facing him, all of which he denied.
He was found guilty of driving without due care and attention and driving while more than twice the legal drink-drive limit.
Charges of damaging property and failing to report an accident to police were dismissed.
The incident happened in Church Road, Farnworth, on January 30.
Eccles was fined £400 and told to pay costs of £875.
Magistrates also banned him from driving for 20 months on May 9, although this will be reduced by 182 days if Eccles completes a government-approved driving course by June 9, 2015.
