THERE was plenty of catwalk glamour in Westhoughton when a charity fashion show was held in the town.
Vibrant Vintage — a local shop selling vintage clothing — organised the event to raise money for Senior Solutions, a Westhoughton-based organisation helping old folk feel less isolated in their homes.
The event was held at Brookfield Hall and included fashion from Vibrant Vintage and Alexandra Kay Designs (vintage-inspired clothing made from original dress patterns).
There was live music including Antique Chic — a group of four teenagers who sing retro songs, a raffle and plenty of stalls for people to peruse.
The show raised £1,485 and it is set to become an annual event to help Senior Solutions.
- Vibrant Vintage has organised a craft fair at Haigh Hall tomorrow from 10am to 4pm. There will be more than 40 stalls, classic cars, a band and free quiz for children and admission is £1.
