IT is a case of like mother like daughters for Rose Waite and her two youngsters — as all three are set to compete in beauty pageants.

Mrs Waite has won a place in the grand final of Dream Street’s Miss United Kingdom, while her daughters Leah, aged 12, and Emma, aged five, will represent England at the grand finals of international beauty pageant Face Of The Globe 2014 in Paris.

Mother-of-three and full-time model Mrs Waite will compete against 80 contestants from across the United Kingdom and Ireland, while Emma and Leah are up against youngsters from countries all over the world, including Portugal and Brazil.

Mrs Waite has appeared as a model on Channel Four alongside Gok Wan, while Leah, a pupil at Canon Slade School, has modelled at London Fashion Week and will model for The Liverpool Fashion Show.

The Waite family, from Breightmet, will fly over to France to cheer on the girls and make a special visit to Disneyland Paris.

Mrs Waite said: “It’s great to see Leah and Emma doing so well. They are very excited about Face Of The Globe and can’t wait to go to Disneyland.”

Leah said: “I’m very much looking forward to it. It’s the biggest pageant I’ve ever done and I find it very interesting. I’m very passionate about modelling — I love being on stage and trying on different outfits.

“I look up to my mum a lot. She comes to every fashion show I do and I love her being there.”

Leah, who turns 13 before Face Of The Globe 2014, will compete as Teen Face Of The Globe 2014, while Emma will compete as Mini Face Of The Globe 2014.
