BOLTON boxer Amir Khan has changed the spelling of his daughter’s name.
On Friday, the new father announced the arrival of baby Lamysa but later corrected it to Lamysah.
The 27-year-old wrote on Twitter: “Decided to call our baby LAMYSAH not LAMYSA. It sounds the same but we added the H at the end of it as Islamically it's the right spelling."
In a further post, he wrote: “Lamysah means soft and gentle.”
The former WBA and IBF light-welterweight boxer uploaded several photographs of himself cradling the tot, as well as a picture of dozens of presents and balloons spread across the family’s pool table.
Lamysah, who was born at 4.05am on Friday, is the first child for the pair who married in June last year.
