Mill fire 'was arson'
A MILL blaze that devastated businesses is believed to have been caused deliberately.
About 30 firefighters tackled the fire at Brownlow Business Park, Tennyson Street, Halliwell, in the early hours of Monday.
Afford-a-Part suffered the worst damage and neighbouring business CrossFit Primal Training had to close on its opening day.
Fire crews were at the scene for about four hours.
A spokesman said: “A fire and police investigation is ongoing but our initial inquiries suggest the fire was started deliberately.”
