A BRAVE little boy who was born with just two per cent of his brain has been given a signed boxing glove from Amir Khan.

Noah Wall was born with spina bifida and fluid on the brain.

His parents had been advised to terminate the pregnancy because doctors believed he would not make it.

But Noah has defied the odds and recently celebrated his second birthday.

Now his mum, who is from Bury, is raising awareness about his condition and has embarked on a campaign to raise money for an electric wheelchair for her boy.

Part of the fundraising will include a charity auction, where Bolton boxer Amir Khan’s glove will go under the hammer.

During a trip to Amir’s Gloves gym, little Noah met local boxers Scott Quigg from Bury and Andrew Devent from Stretford.

The Bolton boxer could not be there himself, as he was looking after his newly-born daughter Lamysah, but he signed a glove to give to Noah.

Mum Shelly Wall, aged 42, who grew up in Bury but now lives in Carlisle, said: “Noah had a great time at Amir Khan’s gym.

“It was amazing to be invited along and to meet the other boxers Scott and Andrew — obviously we understand why Amir himself couldn’t be there.

“Noah is an amazing and determined little boy.

“We have no idea how long he is going to live but we try to stay positive for him every day.

“He is two now and continues to defy the odds. We want to do all we can to raise £8,000 for an electric wheelchair for him and people like Amir Khan have been so kind in their donations for the auction.”
