HORWICH residents were in good health during a community involvement day.
The event, organised by housing association Places for People with Bolton at Home and the Brazley and Claypool residents associations, aimed to promote health and well being within the community and teach people how to make affordable, healthy lifestyle choices.
Activities on the day included a vegetable planting session, a healthy eating workshop organised by Cracking Good Food as well as information sessions regarding health advice.
Young people could also get their hands dirty during activities, including sunflower planting.
The event was held at Greenbank Court in Chorley New Road as well as the Gloucester Community Gardens.
