Thug who kicked girlfriend in the head and attacked her with a golf club is jailed
MAGISTRATES have jailed a man after he kicked his girlfriend in the head and assaulted her with a golf club.
Leighton Brierley, aged 34, of Bromwich Street, Bolton, pleaded guilty to assaulting Tina Hanson on May 4 and causing damage, estimated at £100, to a window the previous day.
He also admitted damaging a window on May 7, assaulting James Williams on May 13 and threatening to smash his window and failing to surrender to court.
He was sentenced to 22 weeks in prison.
