A GIRLFRIEND has denied wounding her partner with intent to cause grievous bodily harm following a stabbing incident.
Elenor Abbott is alleged to have wounded Craig Vernell with intent involving stabbing him in the chest on January 25 at her home in Widow Street, Leigh.
32-year-old Abbott was remanded on bail by a judge at Liverpool Crown Court until August 1 when she is expected to enter her plea.
A condition of her bail is not to enter Coltsfolt Close, Leigh.
A date for her trial, expected to last two days, was fixed to begin on August 20.
