A TEENAGER whose reckless driving left another man in hospital has appeared in court.

Jordan Kenny, aged, 18, was chased by police after he was spotted speeding along Green Lane and Bishops Road in Great Lever with three passengers in the car on March 24.

Believing it was a stolen vehicle, Bolton Magistrates Court heard how officers followed Kenny, who was driving a Vauxhall Astra at 40mph, on to Bradford Road, where they found he had crashed into a Red Honda.

The driver suffered injuries to his neck, shoulder and back, plus bruises to his stomach after the airbag inflated, meaning he was taken to hospital.

Kenny, who lives at Lyndene Road, Wythenshawe, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving on Wednesday and will be sentenced at Bolton Crown Court on July 18.

He was granted bail but has been disqualified from driving until the trial.
