BOSSES of a Bolton property management company have voiced their delight at “fantastic results” in a recent student survey.

Primo Property Management, which manages several student developments sold by its partner firm, Knight Knox International, achieved the results in its tenant satisfaction survey.

The firm — the property management arm of Knight Knox Internation-al’s partner developer, Forshaw Land and Property Group — surveyed tenants from three student developments, including The Pack Horse and The Bank, both in Bolton, and another in Leeds. The survey questioned respondents on services including booking/arrival experience, Primo staff customer service and accessibility, maintenance, satisfaction with facilities, internet provision and security.

It found 87 per cent of respondents rated their accommodation with Primo either good, very good or excellent in terms of “overall level of satisfaction”.

While the responses were positive, the firm says the feedback also provided Primo with important intelligence as to where improvements could and would be made.

Primo says it has already held a meeting with its IT provider to develop a strategy to improve the IT provision for September, 2014, while plans are also in place to conduct the tenant satisfaction survey twice a year across all Primo managed developments.

Primo operations manager Ruby Jones said: “We were very happy to get this very positive feedback because it consolidated and confirmed to us that the students believe we are doing a good job, and that they are happy with the residential experience we are providing.

“As we go forward, we will continue to seek the feedback of our residents to ensure we’re providing them with a positive residential experience and our emphasis is to partner with the students to deliver this.”

The firm has just moved into new offices in Wood Street, Bolton, and celebrated the occasion with an opening event attended by University of Bolton chiefs, representatives of the British Heart Foundation and Bolton Lads and Girls Club.

Primo was awarded “highly commended” runner up in the Bolton and Bury Business Awards last year.

Meanwhile, two new members of staff have been recruited into the Primo team as part of an expansion plan, which includes the management of three new student accommodation developments from September — Greenbank Court in Plymouth, Halley House in Nottingham and Clyde House in Glasgow.
