A LARGE swarm of wasps has been spotted close to the police station in Burnden Way, Middlebrook.

The swarm was spotted by workers in the area yesterday afternoon.

Jenny Ryan said: “We work at a digital marketing firm in the business hub at Bolton Arena and we were heading back from lunch when, at the roundabout near the police station, we drove through a cloud of wasps.

“There were so many of them all around the car and we could hear thumps as they hit the windows, they just seemed to have congregated around the roundabout. It was very strange.”

This is the most exciting story since amir khan's wife deactivated her twitter account.

I've seen them get mightily miffed when an expert removed one of their nests out of our loft....
