A BLAZE in a farm outbuilding in Atherton could rage all night, fire fighters have confirmed.

Two Bolton fire engines were called to the farm, in Breeze Hill Road, at around 8.30pm this evening.

It is not yet known how the fire was started and whether anyone has been injured, but crews have already spent more than two hours tackling the flames.

A spokesman for Bolton Central station said fire fighters were expected to remain at the site throughout the night in order to bring the fire under control.
