TRAFFIC is building on St Peter's Way after one lane was closed because of a crash involving four cars.

The incident happened at about 8.15am on the A666 northbound between the M61 and Raikes Lane.

Lane one of two is blocked towards Bolton.

Four cars, believed to be three Ford vehicles and a BMW Z4 were involved.

Vehicles are queuing back as far as the motorway.

People drive far too fast on this road, it's 50 MPH but people go speeding past you over 70. I'm all for not holding traffic up and can't abide slow drivers but some driver's actions beggars belief!
