Teenage girl in court over death fire arson

A SCHOOLGIRL from Bolton has appeared in court charged with arson in connection with a fire in Manchester which claimed the life of firefighter Stephen Hunt.
The 16-year-old girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in Manchester Crown Court charged with arson being reckless as to whether life was endangered.
The case was adjourned.
The girl will appear at Manchester Crown Court to enter a plea on September 9. A trial date has been set for next year.
