STYLE icon Alexa Chung joked the nation should followed the American trend of naming babies after places on Twitter - and call their kids Bolton.

The television presenter tweeted: “People should name their kids after English places in the same way they do American ones.

"Eg.. why have Tennessee when you could have Bolton"
