HUNDREDS of children from across Greater Manchester gathered in Bolton for an audience with Fireman Sam.
Last weekend, the Market Place Shopping Centre in Bolton hosted a story-time event in the centre’s main mall, attracting visitors from across the region.
Fireman Sam read stories at intervals throughout and met delighted fans.
Nikki Wilson-Cooke, centre manager, said: “It was great to welcome Fireman Sam and seeing so many little ones meeting him made everyone happy.
“Events like this showcase our centre as a space for people of all ages. The redevelopment of Market Place’s Vaults and the addition of a cinema will only add to the potential of the centre.”
