Motorcyclist suffers broken shoulder in Astley Bridge collision

A MOTORCYCLIST was left with a dislocated and broken shoulder in a crash in Blackburn Road last night.

The male rider of a Ducati motorbike was taken to hospital after he hit with a silver BMW 316i at about 8.50pm.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the accident, which happened near the Astley Grange Nursing Home in Astley Bridge.

The driver of the car was unhurt and gave a negative breath test to police on the scene.

No arrests were made.
