Man charged with alleged Rumworth attack on woman
A MAN has been charged with causing a woman grievous bodily harm with intent.
Damien Baxendale, aged 25, of Callis Road, Deane, is alleged to have attacked a woman known to him in Wigan Road, Rumworth, at about 4.50am on Saturday.
He appeared at Bolton Magistrates Court on Monday, and the case was referred to Bolton Crown Court, where Baxendale will appear on August 29.
The woman was taken to hospital after the alleged attack.
