CHARGES against a woman arrested in connection with the death of her estranged husband have been dropped.
Sandra Jepson, aged 41, of Blackleach Drive, Worsley, was charged with conspiracy to murder Marc Jepson and conspiracy to commit him grievous bodily harm.
But the charges were dismissed at Manchester Crown Court this week.
Jepson had been remanded in custody after being charged earlier this year.
Mr Jepson, aged 40, was found dead at his home in Kildare Street, Farnworth, at about 4.30pm on Wednesday, March 5.
A post mortem examination revealed that Mr Jepson died from asphyxiation.
Carl Hodgkiss, aged 28, of Elton Avenue, Farnworth, is charged with Mr Jepson’s murder and Sandra Jepson’s mother Irene Hodgkiss, aged 63, of Fairwood Avenue, Farnworth faces a charge of helping him.
Both defendants will appear at Manchester Crown Court on Monday, September 8.
