A TRIO of Bolton School girls have achieved a scholarship recognising their outstanding academic talent.

Jennifer Heyes, aged 18, will receive £7,000 per year towards her degree at Imperial College after achieving an A* and two As, while her fellow sixth formers, Nadia Baradash and Annabel Ault have a deal with Deloitte, in which they get work experience, a placement for seven after graduation and money to go travelling once they have finished their degree.

Jennifer said: “It was birthday on Wednesday and I have been a little nervous, but I had my birthday to distract me.”

Nadia who achieved three A* added: “I am going to Durham to study natural sciences and I have a great opportunity with Deloitte, I want to do something in finance.”
