IT was double the success for Turton School twins Charlotte and Aimie Bowles.

The 18-years-olds who scored straight As in their A-levels are both going to study medicine, and after going through their school life together they have decided to go to separate universities.

Charlotte will be going to Leeds, and Aimee to Sheffield.

Charlotte said: “We did support each through the exams.”

Aimee added: “It was quite crazy at home when we were both revising for the exams.”
