A PUB is offering a right royal reward to redheads in honour of Prince Harry’s 30th birthday.

Flame-haired customers who visit the Red Lion in Over Hulton on Monday can enjoy 30 per cent off their food bill.

Even those without His Royal Highness’s flaming locks can indulge in the offer, if they transform their barnet with a wig in his honour. Adam Griffiths, manager at the pub, said: “The team and I want to wish our red-headed prince a fantastic birthday and felt we should do something a little cheeky to mark his 30th.

“We really hope to see a flurry of redheads in the Red Lion on Monday, all looking to celebrate the Prince’s birthday with us and claim their redhead rate.”

While staff and customers at the pub raise a glass to the prince, the fourth in line to the throne says the Invictus Games will be the main way he is marking the milestone.

The four-day international sporting event has been organised by Prince Harry for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, taking place until tomorrow.

More than 400 competitors from 13 different nations will compete in nine sports at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

Prince Harry said: “I don't feel too old, I think I am always young at heart.

“Surrounding myself with these guys and girls does keep me young. They're sharp-witted and their sense of humour is on it.”
