AN investigation is underway into two car fires in Farnworth.
Firefighters were called to the back of St James Street at 9pm last night, where a BMW was on fire.
They were on the scene for 45 minutes.
At 3.30am this morning the fire service was called to Campbell Street after a minibus and a black cab on Mill car park were reported to be on fire.
It is thought the fire spread from one vehicle to another and police believe the blaze may have been started deliberately.
All the cars were destroyed in the blaze and fire officers alerted police.
Police said their enquiries were continuing.
