BOLTON comedian Paddy McGuinness has announced the dates for his stand-up tour.

The Daddy McGuinness 50-date tour will kick off on September 28 at Scunthorpe Baths Hall and will end on February 27, 2016, at the London Eventim Apollo.

He will appear at The Lowry, Salford Quays, on February 24 and 25, 2016, and other North West dates include Liverpool, Blackburn and Preston.

Paddy, who welcomed twins Penelope and Leo with wife Christine in 2013, said: "I’m really looking forward to being back on tour — I’ve missed it.

"I’ve got a great new show planned — Daddy McGuinness. Amongst many other things, I’ll be sharing several stories about becoming a first time dad and parenthood. Roll on September!”

The Take Me Out host, who lives in Bolton, appeared on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw on Tuesday morning to announce plans for the tour.

On Saturday, Paddy will join fellow Bolton funnyman Peter Kay and the rest of the original Phoenix Nights cast on stage at the Manchester Arena for the first of 15 live shows in aid of Comic Relief.

Tickets will go on-sale on Friday at 10am — gigsandtours.com/ 0844 8110051 or ticketmaster.co.uk or 0844 8262826.
