A MAN who absconded from prison has been found hiding in the loft of a house in Worsley. in Worsley.
Police found Connor Smith-Macphee hiding in the loft of a house in East Lancashire Road just after 1am this morning.
The 21-year-old, who was unlawfully at large after absconding from Kirkham prison, was arrested on suspicion of kidnap and absconding from prison and taken into police custody.
Four other people at the address were arrested on suspicion of harbouring an offender and are also in police custody.
