A WHEELIE good time was had by young primary school children when they enjoyed some scooter fun.
St Edmund's RC Primary School in Little Hulton staged a scooter workshop for youngsters.
They were taught how to stay safe to learning new skills.
The children were provided with helmets and knees pads before they got started.
Business manager Val Lomax said: “They children really enjoyed it.
“The workshop was the idea by Natasha Fisher, the PE teaching assistant she organised the organisation to come in and deliver the session with mainly year one children, but there were a few youngsters from other years too.
“Many of the children have scooters and they were taught how to stop safely, the importance of balance and different skills.
She added: “I am confident that the children will get the safety gear because they really enjoyed wearing the helmets and it was a great workshop because everybody could get involved.”
