A PAIR of doves have been spotted nesting on the satellite dish of a Bolton home.
Dennis Pilling, aged 71, took this picture of the birds perched on the side of his house on Turner Bridge Road, Tonge Moor.
This is the third year running that Mr Pilling and his neighbours have noticed the doves, which have proved popular with residents.
Mr Pilling said: "For a few years now they have been coming to nest on the dish and they come back three times during the year.
"All the neighbours know they nest there and we enjoy having them there and looking out for them coming back.
"All being well they will be coming back twice more again this year.
"They are quite tame really. I have a dog that likes to run around out there and the doves will just sit there and watch him quite peacefully."
