A MUCH milder start today than earlier in the week, with no signs of early frost in urban areas.
Stargazers will be glad to hear that the skies over Bolton are likely to be clear in the next few hours, so they can get a good view of the eclipse.
Temperatures start off at 6C and will rise to 11C at noon, when it will become cloudy.
There is no sign of any rain today, and temperatures will fall back down to about 5C tonight, so not a bad start to the weekend overall.
