AN 11-year-old girl died at the weekend after being hit by a car near her home. Carol-Ann Buchan, of Farquhar Road, Aberdeen, died at the Royal Aberdeen Sick Children's Hospital. The accident happened at around 8.15pm on Sunday on Balnagask Road, Torry. Grampian Police said that a report was being sent to the procurator-fiscal and appealed for anyone who saw the accident to contact 01224 386 000 or any police station.
