X FACTOR winner Leon Jackson returned home to Scotland with a message for his legions of fans - it's great to be back!
The 19-year-old singer, originally from West Lothian, has been out of the public eye since clinching last year's coveted Christmas No 1 spot with the song When You Believe.
But he was back in the limelight yesterday on a whistlestop tour of TV and radio stations just weeks before his new single, Don't Call This Love, hits the shops.
Leon said: "It feels great to be back in Glasgow. I love how friendly everyone is here and to be near by Scottish fans and the people I have grown up with is great.
"Glasgow is significant to me as it's where I auditioned for the X Factor.
"It's a dream to be here promoting my new single."
Leon was the surprise winner of last year's show, beating off Welsh opera singer Rhydian Roberts.
He will hope to inspire this year's hopefuls when he makes an appearance on the show next month.
