PAUL ELLIOTT reckons Glenn Loovens can establish himself as a Celtic player if he is thrown in to the Old Firm cauldron on Saturday.
Loovens is on stand-by to start as skipper Stephen McManus is struggling with a knee problem.
The Dutchman played well in the Hoops' League Cup Final win over Rangers in March, but Elliott says this is a different ball game "This is an opportunity for him to reinvent himself, if you like, and I say that because of the magnitude of the game," said Elliott. "This match could decide the title. You need real leadership at centre-half. It's the daddy position' I always say as you can't afford to show any sign of vulnerability."
