KENNY MILLER is battling to be fit for Rangers title cruncher against Aberdeen tomorrow.

The striker had been expected to miss out against the Dons because of his on-going hamstring problem.

But he trained at Murray Park this morning, and Gers boss Walter Smith is hopeful he can play some part.

Smith revealed he will give striker Kenny Miller until tomorrow morning to prove his fitness.

He said: "Kenny trained today but we'll have to see how he is tomorrow. We are hoping he will be able to play some part in the game, which would be a boost."

Smith then insisted Rangers won't be going gung-ho despite their need for a handsome win.

The Ibrox manager knows the league title could be decided on goal difference with the Old Firm locked on the same amount of points with just two games remaining.

Celtic current boast a superior goal difference of plus two, but Smith says his side's first priority is to take all three points.

He said: "First and foremost we must concentrate on wining the game. We have two tough games remaining and our priority is to try and win them.

"We are well aware of the situation regarding goals and what I would say is hopefully if we create as many chances as we managed to carve out during the week then we can make them count.

"But Aberdeen are a good side and they always give us tough games. So we will try to win the game and then take things form there."
