A MAN who is thought to have worked in Bolton recently is wanted in connection with a rape.
Police want to speak to Steve Ken Peter, aged 38, about a rape in Blackpool more than two years ago.
Peter, a Nigerian, is believed to have been working in Bolton recently, and is also known as Hameed Saeko and Steve Adanemen Iyere, which is believed to be his real name.
The rape happened in a flat in Park Road, Blackpool on December 23, 2012.
Police said the victim was raped by a man who said his name was Tony.
Peter's last known address was in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2008, but he is know to have previously lived in Bradford, West Yorkshire before 2008 and London in 2007.
Peter is also thought to have links to Manchester.
Det Con Beverly Thomas said: “Our investigation into this incident is still ongoing despite the passage of time since it occurred.
"We are keen to trace and speak with Peter in connection with our enquiries.
“I would strongly urge anyone who knows of his current or recent whereabouts to contact police.”
Peter is described as a black African male, about 5ft 7in tall, with a diamond stud earring.
