Garden shed destroyed in suspected arson attack
A GARDEN shed was destroyed in a suspected arson attack in Astley Bridge.
Firefighters were called to the garden of a house in Arundel Street at about 1am this morning after a neighbour had reported seeing the shed on fire.
The occupants of the house were out at the time because the property is being renovated.
When crews arrived a fully formed fire had engulfed the shed and they had to use hose reels to put it out.
The blaze destroyed the entire shed.
