AN elderly woman suffered from smoke inhalation after a fire in an adjoining house.
The blaze, which started in the bedroom in a semi-detached house in Moss Shaw Way, Radcliffe, saw firefighters from Whitefield, Bolton Central and Farnworth stations attend at about 7.35pm.
A spokesman for the fire service said the incident has left the room inhabitable, such is the damage caused, and that currently the cause of the fire is unknown.
He added that the woman who lives next door declined hospital treatment, and that her house suffered from some smoke damage.
