MEET the babies at Royal Bolton Hospital who can forever boast a connection with the Royal Family.

A total of five tiny tots were born there on Saturday who will now share a birthday with the new princess.

As Kate Middleton gave birth to her second child on Saturday morning - a healthy 8lb 3oz girl - little Emily Hibbert also made an appearance at exactly the same time of 8.34am.

She weighed just a few ounces heavier than the princess at 8lb 10oz.

Mum Katy Meyler, from Little Hulton, even shares the same name as the duchess, was a week overdue like Kate, and had a speedy two-hour labour.

The 29-year-old said: "I couldn't believe it when I was told we'd both had identical births. Mine was quick. I was overdue and of course they're both girls.

"I do think that her name will be more traditional than Emily's though — something like Victoria."

Katy continued: "I'm so relieved — I can't believe she's finally here. I felt like I was pregnant forever — she was overdue and I was starting to feel uncomfortable.

"I'm really chuffed because it makes the day that much more special. I have my own little royal baby now."

Midwife Anne Eastwood added: "Katy did brilliantly. We were all delighted when we found out she'd given birth at the same time as Kate."

As well as Emily, Bolton Birth Suite said hello to five princes and princesses, including Huey at 5lb 13oz, who was born shortly after at 9.40am, to proud parents Rachel and Richard Greenwood, from Greenmount in Bury.

Mum-of-three Rachel, aged 30, who had a water birth, said: "I'm really pleased. He's my little prince. At least no one will forget his birthday."

Paige and Andrew Edwards' own princess Gracie Mae, weighing in 7lb 1oz, made an appearance at 2.46am.

Mrs Edwards, age 20, from Halliwell, said: "I never thought I would have her on the same day as Kate. We're going to get one of the royal baby commemorative coins too — it's just something extra special to remember from the day."

Little Evelyn Rose, who arrived at 9.04am, was born via an emergency caesarean section after mum Laura Oversby developed an infection — but mum and baby are both doing well.

Mrs Oversby, aged 29, from Boothstown, said: "It's a lovely surprise to have her on the same day as the princess. It means we can get more items for her memory box."
