A 26-YEAR-OLD man is due to appear at court today after being charged with a robbery at a Horwich bookmakers.
Paul Martin Rathbone, of Rosyth, Scotland, was arrested in Hampshire on Sunday morning following the robbery at Ladbrokes in Chorley New Road last Wednesday.
A man threatened two members of staff with a handgun at 7.15pm and escaped with cash.
Rathbone was charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Bolton Magistrates Court.
