The weather today is forecast to be hot with storms possible this afternoon.
Bright sunshine this morning will see temperatures reach a maximum of 28C, with a low of 20C.
The Met Office has issued a weather warning from 4pm this afternoon onwards, with isolated heavy, and possibly severe, thunderstorms expected across parts of Northern England.
