A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in Radcliffe on Saturday night.
Police were called to Cemetery Road shortly after 10pm and found the victim had suffered a stab wound to his abdomen.
The man was treated for his injuries in hospital, though his condition is not thought to be serious.
Police enquiries are ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 8204 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
