TRAFFIC is building up in and around Bolton at the start of the working week.
Police have closed off part of Manchester Road in Clifton as they continue a murder investigation following a shooting last night.
The road is closed in both directions between the Moss Colliery junction and the Collegiate Way junction, and a diversion is in place with traffic heading from Swinton to Kearsley being directed to the M60.
Traffic leaving the M60 is unable to head on to the A666 towards Kearsley.
In addition, is disruption on the M60 at Junction 10 clockwise near the Barton Bridge because of a broken down car.
Motorists are being urged to take extra care this morning due to the wet weather, with spray set to affect visibility on many roads.
