A LUCKY winner has driven away in a Porsche after a Little Lever man raffled it off because his wife thought it was too powerful.
Andi Love sold 49 numbers online, costing £150 each, for his top-of-the-range Porsche Cayenne S version 4.5 V8 360, with the winning number decided by a National Lottery bonus number.
Winner Lynne Blairs, who lives in Chesterfield, picked up the vehicle on Thursday after her number 29 was picked in Wednesday's draw.
She posted on Facebook: "I just won a Porsche, woohoo!"
Mr Love, who has children Jorge, aged five, and Archie, aged three, decided to arrange the draw for the vehicle following a string of timewasters who came to view it after he posted an advert.
He bought the car for his wife as a surprise but she found it to be too powerful when she used it to drive the family to the Lake District.
Mr Love, aged 33, said: "Lynne won. She was one of first in before it went viral. She wanted 29 but was on a old post where people had reserved numbers so it looked like it was already taken. Someone dropped out then when she realised 29 was available she took it.
"A few people were just going to sell it if they won but Lynne's words when asked were 'keep, keep, keep'. Well done Lynn."
